I bought this straight, (mostly) smooth apple from Paykoc (pronounced PIE coach) Imports several months ago. Only paid $75, and it's worth every penny. Just a hair under 6 inches, and 1.59 oz. I thought that was a bit heavy for a meer at first, but a little bit of looking at other brands...- moehawk

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?
Thanks! I generally prefer Panamas and Buntal straws over Milans. But, there are always the exceptions like this one. This is the only Milan I have found that isn't "bouncy" for lack of a better word. Plus, I really like the color combo. -

I recall reading about an old technique hat refurbishers used to use. Colored powder was worked into the felt to refresh and even out the color when the felt was sun-faded. Maybe this was done to your hat at some point in it's journey tbrough time. -

Nice! Have a couple of meer-lined briars made in Germany in the 80's that I bought NOS on Etsy a few months back. Also B grade, but they look great and smoke really nice and dry.- moehawk

That ebayer gets a large percentage of his inventory from Shopgoodwilldotcom. Somebody must have donated "Dad's" collection in bits and pieces to every Goodwill in the country and he's buying them back to then sell... LOL! At one point he was listing hats on ebay before he had even won them on...
