If an AB may not be afforded, might I suggest the Camptown 1936 Fieldmaster? It's a beautiful 50/50 blend of beaver & rabbit, wears like iron & shapes to what you want very well. It's well worth looking in to. A good bank for the buck.

Why thank you very much! Yes, I'd say that's fairly accurate. I have a bit of a pencil curl on the rear of the brim but the sides up & front down that give it that distinctive grin to the brim from the front.

Even Mickey Rourke had a part in there as one of the motor pool crew driving the tank and looking out of uniform. I loved the cameo rolls of those that were famous at the time in their respective tv rolls along with mainstay movie actors.
