Bump...
So, are there any new Fieldmaster owners out there that which to show off their lid? Do any of the current owners have any updated images of their Fieldmaster to show off how it is now breaking in?
Here is mine after about 2 1/2 years.
Cheers!

Bump..
Hey folks!
Anybody else have a new Model 1945 Metropolitan to show off or show off what you have done with yours since you received it?:)
Let's see what you have! I'll post a few pice here soon to show how mine is coming along with the shape I had chose. It's been a great winter hat...
As far as wait times you might have to e-mail or call Ken to find out. I'll do the same and post it here if you don't get a responce.
Currently the Noir is a prototype and is waiting for more interest. Let Ken know you would be interested and hopefully the ball can get rolling on that line...
Like RBH said! Don't be afraid to play around with the shape. Take it slow, think about what you want it to look like and then shape it dry. Once you have the shape you'll be happy with then hit it with a little steam to set what you have done. Over time, when playing with it, it will take on...
Here is an additional insentive for those that have pondering the idea of getting either one or both of Ken's hats that would be very hard to pass up on any product out there.
Now that's a pretty good deal no matter how you slice it. And as far as being viable, well, in my experience it has...
Very well thank you!
2 1/2 years and still going strong. No taper or droop. Yes, the ribbon is a bit sun faded, but most hats will eventually get that way. The leather sweatband is in fantastic shape and allows a good air flow over the noggin.
Thus far one of the happy campers for...
I'm not sure either, but I'm quite sure there are those here that will be able to chime in on that question pretty soon and get you the answer you seek.
Also, welcome to the Lounge.:)
Cheers!

I'm pretty sure. If you need an image of that hat, you'll most likely find it over at COW for sure since that debate in wheter it is grey or not is still a hot one.;)
Cheers!

MrFusion: I think bash in the "Washington" hat is the same as the "Adventure" hat, but maybe not as tight a pinch. What ever you're looking for I'm sure Ken can accomodate.
Cheers!

For those who are interested...
FYI! Just to let the natives know, I currently talking with Ken and he says that he is working hard on an ETA for felt. The moment I know I'll post it here. :)
Cheers!

Fine looking lid!:eusa_clap Now, I would have say that the open crown fits you in that it looks just right like that on your head. But the bash is up to you. And the open crown looks good from my angle. All in all very nice!
Cheers!

Well then, we keep it non-political please. A social & conscience based discussion if you please. Hard to do, yes, but it can be done. My intention is just to keep the eyes open and the awareness alive.
Cheers!
