My DM Adventurer is here!

It's just a tiny bit loose but nothing a little water and shrinkage won't cure. With a felt pad under the front of the sweat it's just about perfect so I don't think I'll need to send it back for a smaller size.

Here it is fresh out of the box and untouched. The color is a beautiful chocolate brown and the ribbon is a very close match to the felt color. The lining is white.

The first two shots are with flash, the one in my hand under the lamp is not and shows the color fairly well.

I think this will be a very good hat for me. Perhaps a brim trim... perhaps not. I'll know once I bash it, which will probably be tomorrow.

Fine looking lid!:eusa_clap Now, I would have say that the open crown fits you in that it looks just right like that on your head. But the bash is up to you. And the open crown looks good from my angle. All in all very nice!

I'll bash it tonight after work. I didn't want to fool with it last night bacause I was dog tired. I had only gotten an hour or so of sleep the night before and didn't have the patience then.

I'll put some sort of IJ crease in it. I'm not interested in a screen accurate hat nor do I own a whip or any other IJ gear... I just like that old fedora style.

You lucky duck! I remember when mine came; I was really excited. I love the DM Adventurer and can tell you from experience it's a good-looking, long-wearing hat. It takes a bash like gangbusters and looks great on any occasion. Enjoy!

I mentioned in my original post that the hat was a little loose. Bashing it tightened it up a bit and it fits perfectly now.

This is going to be a great hat!
