Second hand clothing stores in Roma. I know several partially because I've been going to the city since I was a kid and partially because my grandma knows every inch of Roma and Milano. Remember, just 'cause you don't see em' it doesn't mean they don't exist ;)

Sweet Stetson, Alan. First time I see a featherweight derby. Awesome sweatband and liner, too!

    Vent holes on my VS...

The add and Jimmy's hat do seem to have the vents higher up. Because of the way my hat is creased, I decided to locate them in the way that the green Dobbs shows, right above the bow (right above the leather sweatband on the inside). There's some room but honestly, I haven't tested them yet. I...

In case you missed my earlier project. I took this Maltese Cross pattern from Al's Bowler and with my tool, copied to my rollable Cervo. Al's Cervo: These holes are about one and a half millimeters big.

It took 2 weeks for her to learn how to turn the thing on and log on to skype! lol I don't think she will be even willing to try to post them for me! lol not to mention I took over 1000 shots! She's good with the mail, though. Been getting birthday cards from her spot on the date since I can...

Thanks, Major. I could probably make another one at some point in the future. This was designed with the help of my brother in-law who is an industrial engineer. Believe me, Lefty. I was terrified! When I made the cross pattern on my Cervo, I didn't care much 'cause the hat is my beater. But...

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

Exactly, I should have judged better and open an independent thread for my modification. No artist wants to see their art being altered and being a painter myself, I should have know better. I thought that being a VS this was the right place for it but Art is right--and I'm glad he's not...

Moving this pictures to their own thread. This is the Art Fawcett hall of fame and not the "look what I did to my VS" Thread. After Getting a PM from Art, I realized I might have, inadvertently offended him. My apologies, sir.

    Vent holes on my VS...

Hi all! I'm back in the States after a lovely time in Italy. Hope all of you had a great holiday season. As you know, I've been playing with a device to make vent holes in hats. I took it with me to Milano and asked a friend if he would help me come up with solution to make even small holes (a...
