    Hardcore teacore.

Thanks, @Townes1974. Looks like you’re about to do a bank. At least you’ll be doing it in style.

    Experience with Himel leather finishes?

Thanks, Carlos. Your jacket is a beauty: the dark brown is browner than I thought. Impressed, too, by your scientific approach to measurement. Who did your measurements for you?

    Experience with Himel leather finishes?

Hello, loungers. Close to pulling the proverbial trigger on a Himel Canuck and am wondering about the finishes. Tossing up between the black pigment finish (which is designed to show the lighter teacore beneath, with time and wear) and the dark brown oil tanned (which also allows the base to...

Wow. Where on their site are the actual jackets? All I see are key rings and the like.

Is this the worst 'Bay jacket ever?

It is ugly but, then again, if you couldn't afford a custom and were hankering after a leather, maybe you'd like it!

    New? Pike Bros A-2

Not a fan of the distressed leather, although I like their garments generally.

    Berlin Bound

There are plenty of things to see, especially post-WW2 related. Fascinating place and one of my favourite cities, if not the prettiest (that’s because we razed it with bombing). A nice international smorgasbord of yummy people to look at, too. Plus it’s cheap. In fact, I’ve been vaguely...

I enjoyed a visit to Burg und Schild when I was last there, although the Simmons Bilts will no doubt get your ire.

@Superfluous What went wrong with the construction of the jacket such that it now doesn’t fit you?

    Er, 'Japanese armholes'

Here are some images sent to me by the very helpful Benny's store in Hong Kong of someone my height and weight wearing a 40. The arms look too short but apparently the guy has extra long arms. What do you think?

    Er, 'Japanese armholes'

How my discussion of Japanese jacket cuts got on to anorexic twinks I'm not sure. Perhaps it was inevitable.

    Er, 'Japanese armholes'

Cheers, all. I have a Thedi and it’s fine. I also generally prefer the slimmer profile. I have a Studio d’Artisan cotton blazer (same makers as Orgueil) and it fits fine.

    Er, 'Japanese armholes'

Loungers, am thinking of splurging on an Orgueil leather car coat. Generally, the sizing seems fine but something I can't work out remotely is the armhole cut on the Japanese jackets. What do people think? Overly restrictive? I do have a fairly athletic build.

Looking for the perfect Car coat

I tried one on at Son of a Stag in London. Very baggy. And retailing for £2,000.
