    Here's my Entry..... I guess I qualify to be a member now as well......[huh] Before.... After.... I went from a Brim width of almost 4" to 2 5/8". Crown is now 4 1/2" front, and 3 1/2" back.

    If I were you, I'd go with the 7 1/8, if it's snug you can stretch it. I've gotten quite a few vintage from ebay, take that for what it's worth......[huh]

    another.... here's the Dobbs I was telling you about, it's a little different in that it has no Cross stitching in it, just pleated and sewn straight down.

    Here's one I have, a Resistol, I have another Dobbs I'll have to look for a pic..... I think it would be a bit difficult if you don't have a sewing machine because of the cross pattern stitching on the Bow itself? [huh]

    Thanks.... It was quite easy actually, took be a little over an hour or so. Don't think twice about it, it was fun. I'm already keeping an eye out for a cheap Silverbelly to convert. :D

    Here's my attempt at a Conversion. I had that Black Wool Western that I Posted in the Western thread. I said I never wear it and I see all these threads about western conversions, so I thought I'd give it a go. All I need now is some starch/stiffener for the Brim and I'm good to go...
