Good morning. A walkabout this morning was under the brim of an inky blue Cavanaugh homburg.
The maroon binding contrasts well with the inky blue felt.
Whippet Wednesday participation with a sage hued Stetson Whippet.

Diamond belt back cap was my choice for afternoon and evening escapades. This brown/black hued fabric is easy to pair with different outdoor wear.

Good morning. I changed hues from last night to today. These caps are made of a Glen plaid (short for Glen Urquhart plaid), also known as Glenurquhart check or Prince of Wales check wool fabric. The Fox Brothers fabric is very rich to the eye in person.

Dynamite choice for a surgery day. I am glad that basal cell was successful today.
My wife calls my recent surgeries "old guy tune-ups." Glad your "tune-up" turned out to be easy.
Sending healing wishes, Eric -
I have been enjoying my Grant Stone field boots this winter. They have been my boots for chores, work tasks and tramping around in the local fields/woods. The bison leather is dynamite.
The Grant Stone boots are a good value.

The discussion above does hit on the negatives of sweat, ribbon and blocking. I would like to comment as to my wearing experiences.
Sweat - The leather sweat is not high quality like it's felt hat cousins (new or old). It is far better than the fabric sweats. I wore my 2 PHD's last summer...
Saturday evening I enjoyed Insight Brewing's Demo Tape beer. This Hazy IPA is brewed with Phantasm hops. The beer pours hazy and smells citrus. It tastes tart and finishes dry. A terrific beer to finish my work week.
A warm Sunday morning I was before the grill sipping a Surley Supreme...
Yesterday afternoon I was enjoying some late sunlight during a walkabout while wearing a Fox Brothers Casentino wool cap. I really enjoy wearing this charcoal grey cap.
Cheers, Eric -
Good morning hat folks.
Yesterday I got home from work efforts and headed out on some errands. A Stetson Royal Deluxe Stratoliner was my hat choice. This hat has some premier felt.
This mornings walkabout was taken under the brim of a inky blue Dobbs fedora.
I enjoyed...
Thanks sir. I admit I am temp sensitive tonight. The combo of abnormally warm temps, travel to warm temps and being tired has me temp intolerant. I am that person I dislike, whining and whimpering. I will get over it shortly.
Back at you sir, enjoy the evening.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions....blah, blah, blah. My good intentions were to take my evening walkabout sipping a beer. I stayed outside only long enough to take a pic and then headed inside. The 10'f temps (-13'c) found me cold and heading inside. A Surley Supreme was...
I really do understand. Black and grey combos are my go-to's. I add others for "spice." I most frequently reach for red wool caps or the like for Fall and Winter for spice. Spring and Fall the wabash blue Cordova caps are my most frequently worn "spice" caps. Summer my straw caps are...
Good morning hat folks. This cold morning a walkabout found me wearing "The Brock" in a blue felt.
I got home and changed fedoras and went out to enjoy a cold brew coffee under the brim of "The Brock" in a bright white felt hue.
"The Brock's" have different edge treatments. That said...
