Adventurebilt Henry - Any one got one?
While I don't own a Henry, I have seen several in person - two of them in Penman's shop. They do live up to their reputation of the best factory hat in existence and are priced accordingly - Around $300 which puts you into the custom hat range and given the choice, I'd rather spring the extra... -

The felt has a very fine velour finish - almost the texture of suede. It compares favorably with the other-than-standard finishes on my vintage hats. -

Penman Hats
SOC = Streets Of Cairo - referring to the dramatically weathered/distressed effect. In this case, I'm only wanting the ribbon to be stitched higher than usual so the ribbon will eventually ride up on the crown (above the brim break). -
