Impromptu (1991): Based on story of the romance between George Sand (sort of a tomboy played by Judy Davis) and Frederic Chopin (Hugh Grant). It was mildly entertaining. I thought Judy Davis look very sexy wearing period (1830s) mens clothes.
I love taking photos of clouds and have done so since I've owned my first camera. Well wouldn't you know it...there's an actual society for those who appreciate clouds. Over the weekend a friend told me about this website and already I've submitted some of my photos for its gallery. Heck...
Not solid black, but I have these two similar-style vintage frames. I plan eventually to have an optical shop place darkened lenses in them.

No kidding. Some of these artists are already sculpters and animators and will spend days and months on their creations using this software. But, practice makes perfect.
This is just kids stuff. It's amazing what can be created with this software. Check out the gallery.

Oops...not intended.
I was just 'doodling' yesterday (at work) so it probably took about 20 minutes or so.
Same as this one I did today...the Flying Spaghetti Monster!!!

Here's my first 'doodle' with the 3D sculpting software ZBrush. Basically this is the equivalent of a kid playing with an Etch-a-Sketch for the first time. Once I get the hang of it this should be quite fun to create stuff...

Spielberg's 'Munich' was on again last night. I been singing 'Papa was a rollin' stone...' all day. Can't get it out of my head! Those who have seen it will understand.
My landlord has control of the heat in this 19th century townhouse and he keeps the thermostat low. I live on the third floor so it can get pretty chilly up here. The old radiators are just 'warm' so I pile on lots of blankets and watch movies in bed.
I usually take photos and fool around with them on Photoshop. Since I'm a public school employee I have a pretty good holiday break coming up. I'm thinking about buying this digital 3D sculpting software to play with (actually you can download it for a 30 days free). So, most likely this should...
I sort of hate that it takes a couple of drinks before my personality comes out. People are surprised when I become talkative and silly (and flirty). Should I ever get to the QM event I think I'd throw all caution to the wind and make sure I got to know everyone as much as possible in those...
I came upon this distressed hawk (Cooper's, I believe) today that had somehow managed to get inside an old building under renovation. It kept throwing itself against the window. I believe those are scratches on glass made by its talons. Luckily, the city police station was only a half a block...
Here's my Australian Cattle Dog 'Arizona' in the neighbor's yard today. High winds last night blew off all the leaves from thier ginko tree (reportedly the state's largest) creating this golden carpet.

I went to see it with a group the other night. I didn't think the CGI (Imagemotion) captured the facial emotions very well. The women in our group were a bit disappointed during scene where Mr. B was running around naked and there always happened to be something in the way...if you know what I...
