I agree with you, David based on the one time I took my Cervo out (winter) very little, almost nothing, I'd say, wind was felt inside. Perhaps in the summer the effect will be more apparent. -

Not my head. When it rains, or there's rain in the forecast, I bring an umbrella whether wearing straw or felt ;). I also doubt that much water would be able to pass through less or 1mm holes.[huh] -

Thanks, Eric. Here's the photo, the same as buler's. This one looks quite easy to replicate. I've been wondering if I could use my tool on straw hats... I have to get me a cheap, fairly tight weave to experiment... -
