Yeah! I had to take it apart so, after I made the leather a 1/8, I could reblock the body to the new size. Once I made the bow and sew the liner and sweat back, I re-flanged the brim as well. I did the same thing to one of the Borsalinos I recently bought in Roma. The lupo one, also a 6 7/8. -

I saw the Gray as I'm a bit obsessed with hats in this color. I also handled a brown one when I visited the factory in Alessandria. Very nice hats. Haven't seen the Diamante, no. -

It's 100% Beaver. I've seen it and handled it at Bencraft. The finish of that hat is amazing. Wish Borsalino made all their hats like it. -

Why close the thread if the solution is plain simple: if you find it not of your liking, don't visit it. It's a matter of tolerance. Getting rid of something usually never solves the issue. Axing this thread won't get rid of the moths lol lol -
