    Aero half belt. Advice needed

    My new heavy steer 30's half belt is about 4oz. Carrie said the recent batch was the heaviest they have seen in a while. Works for me as I requested the heaviest from the batch. Impressive hide- no regrets. Same weight as the Lost World's 4oz + I have had new from Stuart.

    Fabulous character and beauty to this half belt. Thank you for sharing! I absolutely love seeing photos of aged cxl or chrome tanned hides. It’s really special knowing these well made classic pieces tell a life story. That is a huge part of the appeal for me.

    Great jackets those Suburban's!! Similar to the 30's half belt but the half belt fits more streamlined for sure.

    It was handymike’s photos that were a real deciding factor in how well it ages. And I believe handymike described the slightly “sponge” texture that really convinced me. Thanks to all!!! Takes a whole community worth of experience to hit the target unknown.

    The leather is thick and smells great. As expected, new, it is a little stiffer than horse but as others have observed slightly more spongy to start. Now I see how cxl horse and steer can be mistaken for the other.

    And thank you Monitor for getting be addicted to CXL. :) I did request the heaviest steer and Carrie/Aero delivered. It is definitely the weight of Lost World's 4 oz + chrome tanned.
