Yesterday I enjoyed the late afternoon wearing a Newt.
This mornings soirée was enjoyed under the brim of an Adam fedora.
I sipped morning coffee while wearing a lined Stetson Playboy.
A couple errands and working the grill while wearing an unlined Stetson Playboy...
Great Lake Brewing's Imperial Grapefruit IPA was my beer choice last evening. This was a beer that I had traded to get. This Cleveland, OH brewer added a dose of grapefruit and ginger to this summer beer. I like it. A Summer beer that has a tangy grapefruit taste and a spicy heat from the...
Good morning hat folks. My morning walkabout was under the brim of a Stetson Buckaneer. The stitched brim treatment is well done. The light gray-blue felt has a stitched brim edge. The mid sized ribbon really gives dimension to the crown and brim size.
Back home I switched to a...
Wow that is hot.
This morning temps were mid 50'sf and the high will be 67'f. Very windy. Next week we will "warm up" to the mid 80'f (lows of 60'f). Time to break out the straw caps for me.
New Cap Day! I am showcasing a new Cordova cap with a terrific rear feature - sewn ribs. The cap is sharp coming and going.
Today's temps give me a perfect opportunity to wear the blue Fox Brothers Tweed wool .
Cheers, Eric -
A work soirée last night made an occasion to wear a pair of 1940's Elevator shoes. The pair is blue suede with an alligator print on leather toes, vamp and heel. The shoes are minty and I enjoy gently wearing them. I have had sole protectors added and replaced the original heels.
They...
A work soirée last night was an occasion to wear a vintage tie. The manufacturers label is not in the tie. The clothes shop in Albert Lea, MN is predominantly displayed on the back of the tie.
The gray and blue based tie has grand spring hues.
Cheers, Eric -
Last night work escapades found me sport'n a Stetson Flagship. The blue felted fedora garnered plenty of attention and comments.
I selected a homburg for my brisk windy morning soirée. The blue homburg stayed put. It is minty and I enjoyed seeing my reflection.
Cheers, Eric -
Work shenanigans found me visiting Torg Brewing with work mates last night.
I enjoyed the breweries Pilsbrucker, Kolsch beer. Mild hopps with a apple taste. Easy drinker. The Annwyn Dewy, Belgium dark dubble, was my fav. This malty ale had the expected flavors of raisin and fig. This was...
Jack; I am not an expert and I hops my answer does not stop the experts from offering their sage wisdom.
My experience of late: I am using a 2023 MacBook. I run Adguard. I set the application to be strong blocking on The Fedora Lounge. I get a strip of ads tittled "Featured Products" on...
Yesterday my lawn efforts were undertaken wearing a Sunbody hat.
My sunrise walkabout hat was an Adams Pacesetter, Executive Quality. This silverbelly felt hat is minty.
I enjoyed morning coffee under the brim of an Adam Pacestter in a buckskin felt hue.
I was preparing...
Dang! When you post after a break you come back strong! Nice attire and dynamite guitar.
GHT you and your wife are twinning all the time. Well done.
Cheers, Eric -
Thanks for the hat compliment sir. Your recent hat posts are grand. The Bantam in sage green is a very special fedora. Back at you, thanks for sharing the hats you wear off your hat rack.
Eric -
Yesterdays cap was a Cordova with mesh sides. It provided comfort in the warmer and humid temps.
It was a New Cap(s) Day at my house. Late night, but I could not wait to try a cap on. Excellent vintage wool fabric in a belt back style.
Cheers, Eric -
Last night I imbibed 2 Surley Supremes. It was our first 80'f (27'c) day. I was hot and thirsty. It also gave me a chance to enjoy my New Cap Day. It has been a warm humid start to today. A cold brew in an insulated mug is a treat.
Cheers, Eric -
Good morning hat folks. I wore a PHD for my morning soirée. It is extraordinarily light on the head.
I enjoyed my morning coffee under the brim of a Stetson Stratoliner Milan. A more substantial hat is needed as the wind is picking up.
Cheers, Eric -
I echo the comparison is like comparing Apples - oranges.
Both hats are on my hat rack at the ready for warm weather.
The Sunbody are heavier. I wear my Sunbody hats (2.5 and 3" brims on my hat rack) for chores around the property. I have taken to getting them wet under the hose and then...
