Coldest Weather I've been in
Sometime last night it started snowing and in less than 12 hours we got about 5 inches of really heavy, wet snow. Canadian Forces flying jackets (post-war)
The size tags on those older jackets are not reliable so who knows. These jackets fit wide and short, i.e. big chest sizes, short torso. The sleeves are a generous length, though. They're made to go with matching insulated overalls and over several layers. It's hit or miss. If it doesn't fit...- Doctor Damage

For what it's worth, from what I've seen -- and I'm not expert -- the way the belt is sewn into the seams is rather unique: note how it's sewn into the side seam facing towards the back, but then rolled back over itself to be threaded through the loops in the front of the jacket. ^ That's a nice jacket. The belt buckle looks wrong for Schott, so too does the shape of the lapels, and the belt is mounted a bit too high for vintage Schott.
