    Welcome to the weekend ! This morning's choice is an open crown Dove Gray western style hat from Hatters Guild, New York. While definitely not in the same league as a Stetson, Mallory or Dobbs, all in all a nice hat that I picked up cheap on eBay. My kinda deal !

    I recently acquired this Stetson Top Hat said to be from the 30's. I have lots of hats but this is my one & only top hat . This one appears to be in excellent condition and I feel lucky to add it to my collection.

    When I set out to build myself a hat collection I decided I wanted to include all kinds of hats... just because. This morning's choice to take care of some business at my bank is my Stetson top hat. * I can see the little Monopoly man in my head as I type this.lol.
