Selling the one & only Brian The Bootmaker/Role Club Engineer. The holy grail. Horween horsehide, very heavy. The soles are still very much intact, although the compliant Horween hide can show wrinkle quite easily, but this pair is pretty much unworn. Marked 9.5, but it’s comparable to a size...
Absolutely concur. This is very important, once you master the ergonomics, the stiffness doesn't matter (and it wont "hurt to wear"). Vanson by far is the least hurting to wear jacket, counting Schott, which is not even thick. Once a Vanson is broken it, it truly becomes second skin (and it's...
One thing I (think) I will like about the US-A Indy is its rounded shoulders, the photo shows it's rounded, and Thor's G8 looks rounded too. I only really care about this one detail LOL in design. Thread tension and thread quality/composition/weight is the toughest to perfect, I guess I just...

Vanson is also a champion of the side lace though. The side lace is not to reproduce a historical design nor for the look, it’s entirely for functionality (like you said, easily adjusted). But we all get to dictate what we like from an aesthetic point.
