BS, Crown main zippers are $250...
Personally i don't have a problem paying that price for them, he is one of the only makers providing them, he can charge what he wants.
If everybody else had them in stock for half of what he charges i would understand but this isn't the case.
To me the Test is a longer model than the LW motorcycle jackets.
I am 6'2" and my LW MC jackets are all specced at 25.25"/25.50" back, they end just at the middle of my belt.
If i ordered i Test i would want it slightly longer, in the 26"/26.5" range, to get full belt coverage.
Considering you...
I like how if an Aero has poor patterns, poor stitching and poor panel alignement they are "period accurate features", but if another maker has the same "features" they are issues....
Guide Master is also the first thing that came to my mind.
Maybe @Mysteryo can help?
Edit: just noticed you already turned on the "Mysteryo bat sign", my bad
The 5 star version looks like a 2D version of a leather jacket.
You can see nothing is designed to fit a human body, it's just a 2D assembly of leather pieces.
The sleeves, the shoulders, the body, nothing has any curve or shows any sign of being designed for a human to fit inside.
Measurements of my 42:
Pit to pit: 23.5”
Back length: 27”
Front length: 21.5”
Bottom hem: 20.5” (on second to tightest adjustment hole)
Shoulders: 20.5"
Arms length:26.5”
Nope, no fusing, you can actually separate them and pull them appart.
Honestly i have never felt a difference in wear, i just one day noticed it whilst nerding on my Leathertogs.
I asked Stuart and he told me originals where like that, i don't know more about it.
My Diamond Dave J-100 is also...
Most of my LW jackets have a two layer lining in the body and sleeve and they feel just like a regular lining.
In my case it is a cotton inner layer and satin outer layer, but i assume it would work just as well with a wool inner layer.
Edit: I have noticed that the double layer cotton/satin is...
I have two bootleggers, one has the heaviest wool tartan (strome) and the other has cotton drill.
There is a noticeable difference in warmth when the weather is warm, i cannot wear the wool lined one if it is 20c, i get too warm. At that temperature i can still comfortably wear the cotton lined...
This makes no sens to me.
So he is saying that people who are expecting "Made in USA" would rather not have an address of provenance rather than an address that isn't American. Nonsens...
And to then say "there is a message stating that if you need any other info, please contact us by email" is...
