if you cant even bend over to tie your shoe laces without restriction, it's too small for you.
the older people get then broader and stouter the upper torso gets and a young men's size doesnt fit right on a middle aged or older person.
you might need to go up a size for comfort

for wearing, I would buy this new reproduction for $80.00 from a company called
AT THE FRONT
nice jacket, but honestly it looks a little too snug / tight
you should have more room for freedom of movement

I stopped by my local GOODWILL Sat afternoon and found this BRAND NEW leather jacket made by GOLDEN BEAR SPORTS WEAR of SAN FRANCISCO
still had tags on it, appears to have never been worn! the leather has a nice pebbled texture and weighs almost six...
heres how it looks with WWII gear
the stand is steel plate [not plywood] and the arms and hands are quick detachable with metal lugs and detent
it seems well made / heavy duty, probably used by a major dept store like Macys
yes then head does have an art deco look to it, the seller says it's sturdier than modern mannequins, and it's of fiberglass construction.
I like the color, and the body has a very atheletic look, like a swimmer's build
the slicked back hairstyle on the head also has a vintage 1940's look
just bought this male 1/2 body mannequin to use for my vintage military uniform displays.
it has removable arms and hands with a solid steel stand.
looks like it could be 1970's ?
WWII HBT cotton shirt
thanks, I'll will wash them in cold water in the washer and hang to dry
I have some stain remover called SHOUT that works well
I'll make sure not to use the dryer
Im not really sure if it's a rust stain or something else?
I bought a WWII M43 cotton HBT fatigue shirt and it has a rust stain on the pocket, is it safe to use a little stain remover and wash it on the delicate cycle? or should I gently hand wash and lay flat to dry?
