I agree, your tastes will definitely change. My comfort zone changed when I bought a homburg. I didn't think I could pull it off, and I only have one, but I really like them now. All of your hats are nice, and you have 2 more hats than I had when I was 3 months in. Personally, I think #3...
Thanks, Manfred. I don't have a flange. I try not to mess with the back of the brim, so they generally keep the curl that they came to me with. One day I will get a flange to go with my 7 1/4 block, but the edge of my ironing board, used sparingly, works good right now.
All of your hat choices were fabulous today, Jeff! The Resistol looks like it could have lasted the day, especially with that mustache. Sorry about the failed trimming. I wish I looked good with a mustache; one day I'll try one again. My wife hates it.
Mike does a great job; he has fantastic pricing, and his custom hats are equally affordable.
Vintage milans are some of my favorite hats. The weave really shows how much care they put in to the hats.
Thanks, Mike. It was very exciting to see the Milan come out of the box! The burgundy...
Thanks, Tom!!

Dave, way to go, man! :thumb: That's such a nice hat. I really like the natural color. It will go great with just about anything you wear. That might be my next felt. Thanks for the inspiration!! :)
I'm excited to see more fabulous pics from loungers that participated in the 2/28 promo...
Well, they finally arrived! I had sent two more hats to Mike for some re-sizing and modifications. One of the hats, a grey Borsalino Savoy had been sent in before for a re-size, but when it got sent back to me it was too small. Major drag, because he then had to put a new sweatband in, so he...
Borsalino Savoy and Champ Milan. I had the Borso hat modified by Mike Miller of Northwest Hats. He re-sized it from 7 3/8 to 7 1/4 and added a new edge binding. The Champ hat received a new sweatband, re-block, and a vintage burgundy ribbon...
