One restaurant owner took a pic of a patron eating a meal, linked to it, and wrote something to the effect of "this patron's gerbil was crushed by canned food, and we don't serve food from cans."
WHAT?
Seriously, what kind of marketing is that? geeze. Poor little critter. :(
Meaning just that. Actually, the term is "follow." I added some potential biz contacts and learned quickly that I don't want to do biz with them. I guess in that way it's useful!
Are you saying that it's not wise to be silly? Because you've mastered the art. I mean that in a positive way, it's what I like about you. I think life is boring without it.
Pretentious blather and banal proclamations can be equally represented in short or long form, on twitter or on a forum. I believe the value of a message is not dependent upon the medium but rather the author.
Alright look, so maybe some people are klutzes and can learn to better control their condition. Maybe the pharm cos will soon have a medication for it, too, and we'll all be swell.
I agree with you 100%. I've always said "excuse me" pre-bumping and "I'm sorry" if I bump. I've also never had a problem with "too many" polite utterances.
I've never connected high maintenance with dry clean only taste.
I'm very high maintenance; definitely not an easy care kind of gal. But I do a good job of maintaining myself. :)
Thinking about this further, I always enjoy overhearing chit chat while sitting in a diner, especially among the retirees. Lots of gems of wisdom in there. Maybe that would be a great project- getting more seniors on Twitter.
