So awfully nice to see you back, Darhling - you've been missed, I am sure.
(Oh how I love that shot with the umbrella :) )
Here's my go at the vintage - doesn't always have to be sepia, me thinks...
You beat me to it Metatron - really like your style Edward. All though I've never, ever worn a shirt and tie with my Irvin! (Maybe I should try it though?)
And thanks for the compliments, Metatron. :)
There is a rumor going around, that AERO, Scotland is planning to com up with a replica of the famous "RAF White Prestige Flying Suit" from the 30's. Should be hitting the streets in "beginning of 2012" Just thought some of you guys wanted to know...:)
I agree on the "wear it like you hate it" thing.
I got a great advice, when I had my new IRVIN - wear it to the Pub, but instead of hanging it up, so everybody can nick it, fold it and sit on it.
Every little bit helps. Have fun.
To answer my own question: The coat went back to J. Petermanns today for a refund. Far too thin/flimsy and a strange light grey color. Oh well - everyday a lesson learnt.
Amazing collection, Two Types!!! Yes - ascots/cravats tend to have a life of their own. That's why I vey often use a short silk scarf instead. Like this one:
