I remember how my folks taught me to ride a bike.
There was a hill next to the barn for driving tractors to the second floor. They put me on top of the hill, on my bike, gave me a push and told me to pedal. Crash and burn a few times and you get the hang of it.
I wear the same vintage jacket all winter long. From the time it drops into the thirties, and even when it's negative thirty. It does get another jacket, and a couple cardigans under it, if it gets THAT cold, though lol
Hmm. It would seem to me that a black fedora would be about as conservative as you could get. Perhaps not the norm today, but a conservative look, regardless.
Sometimes, parents just don't get it.
Very sad. A wonderful, talented artist. He had a one of a kind voice and believed in Traditional Country Music, his fans, and most importantly, God, until his final days.

I don't wear black hats for this reason. I live in an Amish community and don't wanna get confused with them by the local women folk.
I do think a lighter colored hat would be a good idea, a straw for the warmer months in Florida would be a good investment, as well.
