    it's better to get a "distressed" jacket, because a new leather jacket could take a life time to get that "aged look" you will probably stop wearing it by the time it looks all aged and broken in, then it will be too late, lifes too short to age a leather jacket by wearing it

    before he completes his MOS school would you still consider them a soldier / Marine? what if they washed out or got discharged on a medical? are they still soldiers / Marines if they were only in long enough to complete basic / boot camp?

    Civil War Sailor on U.S.S. New Hampshire. It was taken in 1864 WWI era US sailor with the earlier style with larger top and name of his ship photo circa 1917-1919. His cap band indicates that he was assigned to USS Utowana (SP-951)
