that makes sense, it would look silly wearing a loose fitting Aloha / Tommy Bahama shirt with a white under shirt
I think a tank top type undershirt or wife beater would look OK for wearing inside a aloha style shirt and you could also wear the shirt unbuttoned
I normally wear white cotton undershirts with all my button shirts, including camp shirts, Guayabera Shirt / Cuban style shirt
but when it's over 100 sometimes I skip the undershirt
it looks more proper with an undershirt
plus it feels more comfortable so you dont feel the frabric &...
the buttons are sewn on the wearer's right and the hole are on the wearer's left just like the men's shirts I own

I saw a shirt on ebay listed as a size 1X , I usually wear a man's size XL shirt
is 1X for women's? because I dont usually see a man's shirt marked 1X ?
I was out today and met an old guy that says he was a WWII vet that served with the 8th Air Force
he says he's 80 years old and was born in 1931
that would make him only 14 years old in 1945? :)
the photos almost look like they could be right out of the OLD WEST , they remind me of the early pioneers & settlers that crossed the plains on the Oregon trail

no modern slang or anything, only old fashioned manners and etiquette, morals, etc

I have some historical military items I was thinking of donating to local museums so it helps preserve it for future generations to see, instead of sitting in private collections never to be seen by the public.
I heard some museums end up reselling items to raise money for the museum?
