Joseph Abboud, Super 100's Wool - 3 Button, Black
Well, I just won this one on ebay for the mad deal of $6.50. I've needed a good black blazer to round out the wardrobe.

Saw the teaser trailer about a year & a half ago. I was wondering if it was ever going to get released. I was excited to see this one back then I hope they have a similar feel that Sky Captain had.
Cheers!

The trousers are a tad large but it's nothing a tailor can't take care of. Hopefully this will pass as a good "Nick...
After The Thin Man was on the roster for last night. It's kind of interesting to see James Stewart at the bad guy.
My favorite line from that one: "Come on, let's get something to eat. I'm thirsty."

I just recently got a straw boater off of ebay and the sizing was a tad on the small size for me. I put it over a kettle to slightly soften the varnish & the straw. Basically warming things up to give it a slight stretch. Once that was accomplished I put in one of my trusty hat jacks and slowly...
I like the Ralph Lauren. Good clean lines. But that Corneliani drives me nuts as you can see the belt buckle at the base of the vest. Too low rise. But hey, that is just a personal preference I guess.

I had read a while back that style is called a "Two Line". Why, I don't know. I think, in the UK it is called the "Short Sharp Shock", but I could be wrong on that one. Just something to pose to your barber to test their knowledge I guess. Hope this helps.

Funny thing is, that gun probably went for more that Dillinger ever robbed from any bank. Go figure. ;)
Fantastic bit of history there too. I just wonder if the new owner has put a round through it just to say he shot a gun that Dillinger used?
Cheers!

William Powell & Myrna Loy. My favorite pairing for sure. They had the perfect chemistry togther & played very well off of each others lines.
I may have to sit down & do the same this weekend with the Thin Man series.
Also loved what they did in Love Crazy, & Myrna Loy really held her own in...
No worries. I wasn't 100% sure & so I had to go & fast forward to the scene I had in my minds eye.
I love Groucho's stuff because he has this fantastic way of insulting people without it sounding like an insult or if it does they get it long after Groucho has left the room. Both films are a...
"It smells like Rain."
Man what a line up of films! Got to watch Speedy while on the treadmill at the gym, then came home & launched right into Welcome Danger. Movie Crazy is starting right now. What fun! Even our ten year old son got a kick out of these films. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap What can I...
It was a night of Harold Lloyd on TCM tonight. I especially enjoyed Welcome Danger because it came out the year my Pop was born, 1929. I may have ot get the Harold Lloyd DVD box set now. Even our 10 year old got a kick out of these films. Now that's saying something.:eusa_clap :eusa_clap...
Meet the Robinsons was on the movie roster tonight. Always enjoy that one. Especially all the little easter eggs that they throw in it for the Disney & movie fan is always fun to pick out. :)

Hitler's Hidden Holocaust on the National Geographic Channel. Man, that was chilling. I would someday like to go to the Hall of Faces at the Holocaust Museum.

Jimmy, you have to be the luckiest dog on the porch. To find a beautiful hat like that one in that size. Great find, and I dig on the color. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
