What a beautiful hat! I can imagine how nice of a hand it has. I love rolled brim westerns, and you rock this one!

The Ansel Adams wilderness was named after him while he was still living, unlike John Muir. I think his photos capture the ruggedness and beauty of the Sierras.

Thank you Jack. It has a very nice hand, as soon as I touched it, I knew it was nice. It appears to never have been worn. I was told ,that it came from a shop in Pueblo Colorado that closed 15 years ago.

Since I'm in Santa Fe, trying the local brews. The La Cumbre Eliminator IPA is excellent. The coolest thing is that you can drink at the Whole Foods grocery store. I would go grocery shopping with my wife, if we had that.

Thanks Bowen, the embroidered liner is what sold me. The sweat also looks older, but I am not real familiar Dobbs dating. I will post to appropriate threads to see if I anyone can tell me.

Congratulations Bob! Looks like your luck made a big turn around. Everyone of them is very nice. A vintage collection in one purchase!

Having a Desert Barn IPA. A local brew with abv of 8.4 and 117 Ibu. Pretty tasty, with what I would guess as citra hops. Late Stetson Panama Open Road.
