Yes! Just like Jello, there's always room for a San Antonio. Good looking hat, makes me want to pull mine out of the box. I am already tired of straw also.

I agree with Bama, the dimensions are just right! The color and crease look good also. Interesting reading about them. How would you rate them compared to a Resistol as far as quality and finish. They appear to have a very nice finish.

I would never be embarrassed to wear one of your hats! They are every bit the work of art as more expensive hats ! Plus the fun of doing it yourself, which is why I got into this. Sitting in the shade enjoying a cold one. It is starting to cool off.

Hey buddy, your welcome in the U.S.! We sure need some good dentists. Although, your photos of Mexico are sure beautiful. I would think it would be hard to leave! Thanks for contributing your beautiful hats, looking forward to seeing your Moon acquisitions.

Is there a reference to where the oranges were grown? Many California oranges were grown in the Redlands, and Riverside areas. There were many producers with beautiful advertisement. My wife collects the early Orange juice reamers. The shipping of citrus back east was promoted in the 30s, with...
They are quite beautiful animals. I have only seen pictures and videos. I have heard them called coatimundi, had to look it up to see it is the same.

Same hat, different beer. At Plaza Cafe, in Santa Fe. A Santa Fe Brewing Co. Happy Camper IPA. Really good even for canned. Waiting for a Carnitas burrito, heavy on the green sauce! Wish I was still there, just for the food and beer!

That is what I thought. I did find a picture of a Dobbs West with the same sweat on vintage haberdasher. He says it is made in the sixties. All of them that I have seen are identical to Resistols and obviously seventies. This looks a little different, which made me curious.

Thanks Bama, the one you posted today is mighty fine! My Resistol Dalworth is what I believe to be mid sixties, and has a 2 5/8 brim. Also Byer Rolnick.

Thanks Bama, do you know the vintage of your twenty five ? My early fifties Resistol San Antonio is the best felt I own. I wonder if the Resistol 25 and Dobbs West 25 were made at the same time.

Here is my Dobbs West, Open Trail, twenty five, that I recently bought. I have been trying to date it, and I think it is early sixties. Some earlier posts think the Dobbs West line was created in the seventies. I think this is unlikely. Others say it was created in the sixties, which I tend...
That looks tasty. I didn't get to try it. Hope you're still having as much fun as we did. You and your wife are cool!
