Hi guys,
I've been eyeing these off for some time. Made in Portland. They look great. They aren't cheap, but I think they are a reasonably classic style, and would get a fair bit of use.
My question is, does anybody own one? Is there anything similar by other makers that you could reccomend...
I was just about to loAd the pic with RAW on the tag. Great insight guys. Thanks so much for your considered answers. Very helpful. I get the impression that I should just wear the ass out of them for a few months prior to washing...
I agree, it's got a nice "inky" depth of colour? It's hard to articulate, particularly for non black jacket wearer. It reminds me a bit of theat blue/ black aero goat from a while back. Very very nice.
That is superb mate! Congratulations on nailing everything! That is a benchmark jacket. No doubt about it. Makes me want to sell all mine and start again. It will look even better when you have bashed it up a bit.
That's really sharp. The trial and error process seems to have served you well. I'm a big fan of the snap on collars.....I look forward to seeing some evolution pics once you have had the jacket for a few months,,,congratulations once again.
RM Williams by a country mile. Very high quality, will literally last for years and years. They are fairly elegant, classical, and tough to boot. The comfort craftsmen are a great all rounder. They look great with jeans, chinos and you can also wear them with a suit.
Yes, I really didn't want to let it go, and everything is much harder and $$$ from Australia. I just think it's a definite keeper, might aswell nail it 100%...

Good stuff! Mines gone back for some quick cosmetic surgery. A little bit off the sleeves and pinching up the torso a bit. Posted it yesterday, with the tyranny of distance it's now a waiting game...
I too contemplated the ticket pocket at the front. Scooter said it probably wasn't the best idea on a cascade and I thend to agree. Scotty rocks, and is so easy to deal with. John and Benny are also champions. I'm hoping to add another Langlitz to my stable by the end of the year...
Hi there,
I have a dodger on order with BK. Can you please tell me if the front and back length are the same or does it dip at the back? Just nailing my final measurements down.
Cheers!
I thought about it, but for the small balance required it would be crazy to let pass. Lawless on the other hand.....lots of spare time at the moment. Got myself a cool new hobby. Sleep in until 10am and then just walk into strangers houses and take TVs and iPads etc..it's a really fun tax free...
