    FS: Vanson Enfield 40

Here's a few more shots. Like I said, I ain't going to be too sad if this thing don't sell, but it sure is a shame for it not to get more love. Fit is snug, but giving. The gussets and the leather breaking in give it some give.

    FS: Vanson Enfield 40

you know, I don't know. I really didn't pull on any of the measurements, so there might be another 1/2 inch on the ptp and back. Shoulder with the gussets, you can plug in several numbers and not be wrong. I'm 6'0, 185 lbs and jacket fits perfect but definitely couldn't layer a thick sweater...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

yeah, I was thinking 42 based on the sizing on the site, but truckers tend to fit weirder than usual. Seem to have wider shoulders and tighter p2p. that's the main problem. Dropping $1k and taking a gamble it fits it's tough. I don't have enough points of reference, but knowing yours is a 46...

    FS: Vanson Enfield 40

Probably going to kick myself down the road because I know the older models with that famous 90's leather are coming harder and harder to find. But this doesn't get worn as much as it should and it deserves a good home. We'll see how it goes, and maybe I'll keep it, but if someone is dying to...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I'm probably one size under you, 6'0 185 lbs, 42 inch chest, 33 pant size so about a 20 bottom hem usually does the trick. I see them on buyee but it's always a gamble with the japanese sizing. although I heard these run truer to size.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

not going to lie, I've been to their site a few times checking some of the truckers out, mostly because of how damn good it looks on you. On the hunt for a used one because I can't bring myself to spend that much new anymore. Probably will be a long wait, so in the meantime, I'll live...

Fit pics of my Thedi MTG-162707

Looks good. Fits pretty much like mine does. I wouldn't call it my best fitting jacket, but it's good enough. I'll give a little bit to get the cool design, finishing details, etc. Plus not bad for letter sizing where there has to be a bigger range.

Just when you thought you had seen it all . . . (Warning: Not for the fainthearted)

how did I not see this before??? My life is complete. Glad this guy became a cop and not a serial killer with all the teasing that must have been going on.

Help identifying a vintage cafe racer jacket

well, it's not a golden rule they shrink substantially. I'm talking about 40, 50, 60 year old jackets here that have been out in the elements, rain to sun, over and over and over again etc. There's a lot of closet warriors that are not like that. But, typically, yes, there's probably 10%ish...

Aero Type 3 Trucker in Battered Steerhide

can't believe this hasn't sold. Oh man if it was a size 40. Once I get a job, I might have Carrie mock one up for me because this is perfection.

Help identifying a vintage cafe racer jacket

If it fits you perfectly and is not too stinky, then you can wipe down with damp cloth and hit it with some pecards once it's dry. Personally, I've washed so many of these jackets now, I have no fear about it unless the liner is really falling apart. I have an issue wearing 50 years of some...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I remember reading one of your posts about your collection and I know you have some really nice jackets. But that one don't fit you with the sleeves. It could be a million dollar jacket, it still ain't going to help. It reminds me of how I buy my kids one size bigger because I know they're...

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

thanks for this. I got really close to buying. The auction ended too early in the morning for me to raise the bid. I had set a limit at 33k yen roughly $320. Looks like it sold for 36k yen or $350, so with shipping would have been close to $450 all in. The patina on it is ridiculous. I...

My 3 year old Highwayman in black CXL Horsehide

I looked at it again. I think it's more of a lighter/dulled blue than turning to gray. So yeah, I can see that going brown. It's getting close on some of the stress points. Probably need another good 10 wears to start getting it to peep through. Try and get it done before the hot weather...

My 3 year old Highwayman in black CXL Horsehide

I bought it second hand from TFL member over the summer, but I think he only had it short while. So was probably very late 2019 or early 2020, also from TB. It's definitely not the blue/greenish tone for sure. But I really like mine, no issues at all with the color. Well that's good to know...

My 3 year old Highwayman in black CXL Horsehide

thanks for the post. I agree, helpful info for reference. I'm curious how my Blue CXL will break in as I've heard it will start to feature some brown, but no signs of that yet. I think you mentioned this was your only CXL, but you didn't mention how many jackets you have in total. I guess...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Think I did good on this one. Low bid on Buyee.jp. Didn't get much action because I guess no belt and someone had cut off the epaulettes, but wasn't a big deal to me. All in came out to $275. No serial numbers so it has to be mid/early 80s but not that old because it doesn't have the older...

    Schott PER70 Perfecto Review

I just noticed the waves in the zipper. And I read some of the reviews on Schott website for this model and Cafe style. Lots of people mention the "warped" zipper. So they are probably washing and drying to achieve some vintageness. I wonder how uniform this could be and if sizing might...

Post Thedi Leather Jacket Photos Here........

Holy Shit. D Pocket, cross zip, Cafe Racer. Just when I thought I was done... Absolute perfect fit too. Wow. I think I said it somewhere else, if not, I'll say it here. If I was starting my collection all over and money was no object, I'd buy 6 or 7 different Thedis and call it a day.
