Good question. I intentionally added a margin of error. I like the very trim cut/look at the waist. This is the fit I like but it is not every ones cup of tea.

Based on the super trim fight I like this would probably be large on you but if you like a more relaxed fit it could potentially work. The waist tapers down to fit me snug.
