    I have a pretty good idea as to how to attach the brim to the crown. My plan is to use a zipper foot. I'm just not sure as to how I should attach the sweatband. I'm going to use some heavy cotton duck that I have laying around. I'm open to suggestions. Thanx!!! Charlie

    I would prefer the challenge of making it myself. I would take apart an old Filson bush hat that I have but I might be giving that to my nephew as a gift. I'm going to be using a urethane-coated Cordura in a camouflage pattern that I like. Thanx!!! Charlie
