    I've had the same on a few vintage purchases. I always figured it was hanging on a brass hook for years. Maybe even supplied "atmosphere" while on said hook in one of those theme bars before some enterprising bidder at a liquidation sale got it for their shop/ebay. Tom D.

    What do you use to shave?

    I saw a post elsewhere about using Grape seed oil instead of olive or Castor. It's odorless, less viscous and does a superior job. If you like to make a batch with and essential oil in it you may want to consider squeezing a couple vitamin E's into the container to act as a preservative. Tom D.

    Interesting. Many many years ago I was told that I was going bald because I DID wear a hat. It was "cooking my follicles". I'm guessing the sun was cooking their brains. Tom D.

    There is a thread somewhere about the "challenge". We don't know of anyone that has actually won one of these. The reserve is never reached it seems. I've bid over $100 and came up short. Tom D.

    James, I use the Everclear or Pharmco alc. as a base for Limoncello, Arancello and Limoncello Verde rather than vodka. Vodka has it's own flavor component but the alc. just gives you a clean bite. Adding cane sugar and bringing it to around 46 proof with water to mellows it out quite nicely. I...
