    Must Have "Period" Adventure Movies??

    Lassiter(1984) comes to mind. Another with Tom Selleck. I believe that one is in the 1930's. I wish that it and High Road to China would be released on DVD soon. I've recently enjoyed Flyboys and can't wait to check out The Red Baron. Then there is the Foreign film North Face. Cheers! Dan

    Last night on the History Channel... The Third Reich, The Rise. Very interesting show. It wasn't about how Hitler achieved such power, more so about how the people just handed it over to him. I think tonight the History Channel will have The Fall, sort of bookending it all. Cheers! Dan

    Modern Stetson Open Road

    If you have a little patience you can find a vintage Open Road reasonably priced, even in a larger size. You just have to be willing to watch and wait on ebay for the right opportunity. The other option is to go for the Akubra. It'll work better than a modern Stetson and most likely last twice...
