Diamond Horseshoe 110
I just picked up this hat, which is marked "Diamond Horseshoe 110" - Paris Hatters opined it may have been a forerunner of the 20X. It is a beautiful hat in any event. If anyone knows anything about these hats, please let me know.

More from the same great website. If I recall correctly, I've read several times that the Open Road in its "current" configuration was introduced in 1946. Apparently that same style pretty popular as far back as 1941 as well.
