Lol, i'm actually wearing these exact RedWing 877 in these pics, i like the flat soles to walk in the woods.
I also have an axe hanging in my back, you can see the handle in the last two pics. I love axes!
Cuffs in the woods make no sens, they would fill with crap in no time and you are just...
@El Marro's post made me want to take my camera to work today...
Appologies in advance as there isn't a single leather jacket to be seen, but it should make it pretty obvious why i don't wear leather when i work.
Start of the day, my office:
Job is pretty simple, follow the fence, if there...
I wouldn't do hard work in any of my leather jackets.
For that i wear a Carhart Detroit and some B01 pants, they are cheaper and far more durable than leather.
You can also wash them which is nice.
Recently for me "hard work" has been dry walling/construction, installing boilers/heating...
It's basically how the pocket lining is attached.
It's just a canvas backing stitched to the leather, there is no pocket bag.
with you hand in the pocket you have leather underside on one side, thick canvas on the other.
Just studs, these are a classic original Leathertogs thing, you can find them on the FW La Brea and Centinella, as well as the LW Leathertogs B.
IMO they are super cool.
To me it looks very good open, but it looks a bit tight in the chest and shoulders when closed.
If you can deal with the comfort level closed or plan to wear it open i think you have yourself a winner.
The back is iMO much too long for that style, but that's how FCL does it, it doesn't look bad...
I was actually wondering if you still had that jacket and how it looked now, seems you hadn't posted in a long time.
It really looks amazing, you did well.

That looks great, really nice fit.
Like you i wear gauntlets and i actually prefer shorter sleeves as i found long sleeves can be hard to shove inside the gauntlet.

I wonder if it's something they do on their more "civilian" jackets, rather than MC jackets?
Cause none of mine do that, they all have a collar that is close to your neck but not resting on it.
Agreed, that looks bad, but that's an extreme.
The collar gap on Marc's jacket is around 1 finger and is what i was talking about.
The collar gap on that Vanson is like three fingers, and that looks ridiculouse...
To me it was never about what it looks like, but about how they feel when worn.
In all my Aeros the back of the collar is pressing on the back my neck, i can feel the jacket hanging on my neck.
With most of my other jackets i have a gap between my neck and the collar, maybe one finger wide, i...
It never got better or worst on any of my Aeros, it never got more comfortable.
What fixes it is not wearing them...
IMO it was never fixed because Master Ken doesn't make mistakes...
Some people take "relaxed fit" to extremes, a relaxed fit shouldn't look 2 sizes too big.
Size 42, what i would call regular fit, i can wear it with a t-shirt only or with a regular jumper:
Size 44, relaxed fit, i can wear two regular jumpers or a thick hand knitted jumper comfortably...
The fact that they are on that forum, posting pics of their glutes and 6 pacs asking other dudes what they think of their bodies, whilst calling TFL users "phaggots" and "betas" is IMO pretty priceless...
