Sweet Smell of Success (1957)
Yet another movie I have seen many a time. A very good cast. A very entertaining story. And beautiful cinematography. Well worth a watch if you have yet to do so.
:D
Thanks for asking. The doctor says it’s coming along nicely. As the swelling has come down more pain/discomfort has shown up. The most annoying part is the lack of mobility. Nonetheless, I am doing well and fortunate that it wasn’t worse.

Crime Wave (1954) on TCM. Nice and crisp black and white cinematography. A lot of neat shots of city and real life from the time. Even though it receives only a two-star rating, it is worth a watch.

Thank you for the greatly appreciated “best wishes.” Clumsy me, I fell off of the garage roof just as I was finishing cleaning the gutters: finished sooner than expected. I landed heel first on cement and shattered my heel. Dummy me. No walking on/with this foot for 10 to 12 weeks...
I had surgery Tuesday. 18 pins and a plate were all that was needed to put my heel back together. I have been mostly trying to sleep through the past couple of days.
:D
Thank you. Fell without grace or agility off a roof last Tuesday. I was just seconds away from finishing and plop. It broke in three pieces and shifted out of place. I will find out about surgery tomorrow. It’s more annoying than painful. I am too clumsy to get around like I want and need...
Being laid up with a broken heel, Season one of Game of Thrones. They were running the the first season on HBO and I happened to flip by and I was caught. Better than I remembered and I remembered it to be really good.
That was yesterday. Today, I was ensnared by season one of True Detective...
Over the past couple of days, some NFL, The Durrells in Corfu, Poldark, and two more episodes of Narcos: Mexico.
At some point, we will watch The Durrells in Corfu from the beginning. It is a entertaining, funny, and well worth the time show to watch.
