DonW - Sounds like you snagged a real bargain, £255 is a great price! You will love Aero's heavy horse, the patina it develops is special - easily there best hide IMO.

Have to say yes - I find myself searching more and more for used and vintage leathers. New jackets are now serious money!

My vintage horsehide half-belt has a distinct musty smell about it but I can't see any evidence of mold on the outside. What would be the best treatment for this? Would dry cleaning be out of the question?
Two great looking half belts. I prefer the lower belt on the Aero but there is something special about a vintage jacket - just the history of it. I would wear them both. Oh, great fit too. Thanks for sharing.
