How often do you clean your face with the OCM? Before bed and first thing in the morning or is just once a day sufficient? If you only use OCM once a day, do you wash your face at any other time and how/with what?
My red's include:
Poppie by JANE -> This is my fave and it's discontinued. It's the one in my avatar.
Diva Red, Rich Moisture Lipstick by Rimmel -> The closest I've found to JANE's Poppie.
British Red, Colour Riche by L'Oreal -> A cool bright red, like a firetruck, really pops...
I've started the OCM just tonight. So far I like it; it doesn't leave a greasy feeling and it gets makeup off better than anything I've used before. Now I've heard of a period of adjustement, a detox period....how long should that take? I mean, how long should I stick to this before I begin...
I slept in sponge/foam (with the snappy thing) curlers last night. It worked quite well and I slept alright. I set my hair like in Lolitahaze's tutorial for recreating Rita Hayworth's hair. http://community.livejournal.com/vintagehair/3414.html
I set my hair shortly after showering so it...
Wow! It's terrible your teacher made fun of you. I know how you feel; someone made fun of my rolls once. Pigeon Toe made a good point though, for a small hand full of people who don't like the way you look, there will be millions who love it. I think bandanas are awesome and should be worn...
I tried a quick set of pin curls the other day. My hair was almost completely dry and I had the pin curls in for about 45 minutes. I didn't used any setting lotion. They looked really good! They didn't last long but they worked out. It was the first time I stuck it out and finished what I...
If I will be eating and drinking a lot I use the super long lasting never comes off lip colours. I like Outlast by Covergirl in, I believe Flame. There are several colours and many brands that offer this type of product. It really doesn't come off. It's very matte but can make your lips dry...
Great! I'll definitely wear them out more. I'm always looking for a time when I will spend ~8hrs in the house to set my hair but that's almost impossible. I used to work in a call center though and I always set my hair during work. I'll wear them to the gym this week and see how it goes. I...
I usually go to the gym in the morning. This makes it pretty much useless for me to set my hair overnight. Unless...I wore my curlers, or pin curls, to the gym. Do you ladies think that would be too much? Is there a better solution?
I've been reading this thread a lot lately and several things were mentioned which I'm not sure I understand. What is the difference between sponge roller and foam rubber rollers? And what are these sponge rollers with wires inside them? Many people believe these are the most comfortable...
More pictures! Yay
Here is a picture of me washing plates after a wedding. :eusa_clap I did my hair according to Lolita's 'Rita Hayworth' tutorial again.
And this is my husband and me at another wedding this summer. I put a side part in my hair and did two rolls. I used a makeup...
hair nets
When pin curls are used to set hair, it often needs to be covered by a net or scarf of some kind to keep it all together. I have two hair nets that have elastics so they stay on but they are getting loose and stretched out. I am watching 'Grease' right now and the girls are wearing...
I bought a red lipstick several years ago, JANE lipcolour in Poppie. I wasn't looking for anything specific, just thought every girl should have a tube of red lipstick, (I think I was 17 at the time.) I began wearing the colour recently and it's gorgeous on me. A really nice bluish red...
Here's a really cool video of beauty and how it's changed over time. I'm not sure of the chronology of the pictures. However it is a pretty cool way to see a whole bunch of hair styles really fast :p . Inspiring....

The Diva Cup is a menstrual cup. (Is this the right forum?) Anyways, I've had mine for a few months now and I don't know what I would do without it. It never leaks, I'm never aware of it and you can wear it for up to 12 hours. It's reusable so it's great for the environment, too. Don't...
I HAVE PICTURES!
I used Lolita's 'Rita Hayworth' tutorial. It worked great, thanks! I used a regular set of hot rollers. I used the smaller ones near my face and the larger ones in the back. Sorry the quality of the picture isn't great.
YEAH! PICTURES! :D
The other picture is...
