whoa. wow. Wait, is this you buying someone else's jacket that hasn't passed muster? Or your design from beginning and he's making some tweaks. Thought I saw something similar to this recently. It's beautiful. Pretty much a freewheeler La Brea rip off. If I had to get another jacket from...
check out Schott 689H. Seen a few pics posted around here lately. Very Enfield-esque but I think the pattern is a little bit better. Crazy, because I hardly ever say that about a Schott. And doesn't have the split back if you like the cleaner look.
This one has gotten a lot better with some wears. Even though it was smallest measurement numbers. Fit was baggy. Has finally started laying flatter and more how I like it to fit.
I think Vansion (I know Schott for sure) has done Japanese specific collabs/productions. So maybe this is something that was produced locally or specifically for Japanese market and that's why the label is "off".
I agree that it's silly to counterfeit Vanson at this price point. It's the same...
Shipping charges from Buyee, you need to keep in mind a few things.
You're paying domestic shipping (Japanese seller to deliver to Buyee) and International Shipping (Buyee to your destination). On the Domestic shipping, it's usually $8-15. Goes by weight on the international. They've started...
I forgot you had that beige one. Nothing like a Cal. There's some sort of essence to it that just exudes cool. Getting the fit down though is the challenge.
since we all friends around here and I sure as heck would want someone to be straight up with me. When we start talking to our jackets on the porch and hosting like a talk show kind of thing where the guests are other jackets, maybe it's time for a vacation LOL :D:p;)
J/K, I'd tune in every...
Can't go by the numbered sizes, especially with Aero. I think I'm anywhere from a 38 to a 44 in various styles. And I've seen crazy variances in their numbered sizes as well.
Adding a little to the ptp and shoulder is a no brainer, but not as much as you might think. I bought a used 42 Aero...
yeah there seem to be a lot of variances on the back design of the BL. Usually I didn't like them because ones I've seen have the action back. But every once in a while one catches my eye. Always liked what you did with yours by adding the mutton collar.
LOL I know, right? I just bought a C3 vest too. I'm nuts. Subconsciously I think I'm preparing to move to Alaska. The neighbors love what I do to the property values though as I walk around in the back yard wearing boxer shorts and shearling jackets and vests.
go for it. I think it has a newer zipper though. Very sweet deal anyway. It's too short for me at 6'0. I've got a few already on the short side and it's a certain sort of look. Don't want a closet full of them. Going for more ever green jackets now.
Starting to go down this rabbit hole. Trouble for me and my wallet. Have stayed away from the military stuff, but I think it's time soon. May start off small and cheap with a used schott is674ms. Looks like I can get a good one in $200 range and see how that goes. Sizing always a challenge...
