I think you did a great job especially for the first time. My first attempt at rolls was nowhere near as nice as what you have going. I would say that for the larger roll. I find that I don't like that it is so much larger (mine does the same exact thing it makes me feel lopsided) to remedy... -
Dressing for the Holiday / Christmas party season
I love green at Christmas too and I feel I can use it more when it isn't holiday time, and it is so vasty over looked as a holiday color to wear, everyone always uses red. I hope ou find your velvet dress if you please post pictures I would love to see it.- Grant Fan

C-dot thank you so much. It is actually getting darker, I am not sure how that is happening but I will post a picture hopefully tomorrow so you all can see. I am really enjoying the contrast between the dark hair and the very pale skin. -
