Lucky indeed! I'm always impressed with Bob's ability to execute new ideas well. This attention to detail is not often found in handmade anything today. A forward thinking artisan for sure :yo:
BSHW refurb. Was originally a 1920's Emerson Special "Bison" (not sure if that refers to a model name due to the similarity in color and texture of Buffalo or if it actually means Bison felt was used in manufacture).
Note the Bison designation and original $3.75 price tag

I am interested in that one but the price is far too ambitious, Purplesage. There also seemed to be an error in the listing - listed as long oval when the tag says "REG" under the oval tab. This missing ribbon is also going to knock the price down.
The first photo is a 30's Dobbs with its original ribbon. The 5th photo is the original Feiges ribbon but with the bow and knot design re-worked. The rest are collaborations between myself and Bob Jessee. All vintage designs using NOS ribbon.
