Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

My husband has eaten all kinds of gross things back when he was in the military. I've learned through him that there's very little that can't be made palatable with a dash or two of Tabasco. :D

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

Have you ever tried to take on a NYC rat? They are BIG. :eeek:

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

True, but where will all the people in NYC and LA find wild game to eat?

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

Since most people don't have access to wild animals and not all can be hunted legally, I think it might be more like eating squirrels and bugs.

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

But it's been politics-free for years since I first started it...until now. The economy is fluid and new developments are happening. Why does it have to be politics or end it? I hope to keep this open......

Can you help me find pretty, classic-fitting "Sweater Girl" sweaters?

Thanks, Lily. I had actually checked out Talbot's but didn't see pullover sweaters which I really want. So I went back to Macy's and bought more Karen Scott sweaters just now. They are on sale, have lots of nice color options and are 100% cotton...

Can you help me find pretty, classic-fitting "Sweater Girl" sweaters?

So ladies, i went back to the mall. You know what's infuriating to me? How paper thin the "sweaters" and knit tops are at most of the stores! I found some cute looking all cotton tops at Anne Taylor but they were like tissue paper! I ended up buying some tops at Macy's and Sears in the old...

Can you help me find pretty, classic-fitting "Sweater Girl" sweaters?

Haven't shopped there in close to a decade. I don't like the fit or quality.

Can you help me find pretty, classic-fitting "Sweater Girl" sweaters?

Sadly I tried those places, in person and online, and couldn't find any that came close to what I was seeking or if I did it was out of stock in the color I wanted. But I agree, JC Penney usually does have something classic and cotton from Liz C; I've bought some of their sweaters. J Crew is...

Can you help me find pretty, classic-fitting "Sweater Girl" sweaters?

I am trying to buy new (not vintage) sweaters for myself and have checked online at almost ever major outlet, even ModCloth. All I am seeing is billowy, asymmetrical monstrosities with stripes, sequins, studs, zippers and nausea-inducing prints. I can't find anything form-fitting and elegant...

I'm about to draw myself a bath, and...

By the way, I use vintage soap, as in old. Presently I am using Deco era soap in the shower. I find that many soaps don't go bad and are kinder to my skin than the harsh chemical soaps of today. I will look into the suggested bath salts, cubes and bubbles. I love the ideas. Thanks!

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

It's safer than debit cards, though, because credit cards are virtual money whereas your debit card is access to your bank account balance. While generally both checking and credit accounts have fraud protection, it can take a long time to get your "real" money back into your account (from...

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

I have always lived within my means. When I was a kid, that meant I wore hand-me-downs and was picked on for it. In grad school, I worked as a grad assistant, had a full course load, and subsided on microwave popcorn, pasta and expired boxed goods (not sure it was legal, but a store had a...
