    Thanks Cookie. I had some alterations done on it recently to make it fit more snug around my waist. I shouldn't have stuck that 'kerchief' in my pocket, though....spur of the moment thing. It's actually some sort of vintage Florida souvenir.

    The wind at around 12:30 this morning was incredible! I have no idea of its speed, but it was buffeting my house so bad as I was laying in bed I was expecting it to become detached from its foundation. I'm on the third floor and I was being rocked back in forth....it didn't put me to sleep, though.

    I don't have to work today....even though I live just seven blocks away. I work for state transportation and they cancelled everything for the day.
