I would agree. In seems the area of attachment is in a much more fragile condition than any other part of the sweatband. It had me wondering if the sweat could be removed, trimmed down to healthy leather and then reattached, but I guess that's probably too much to do just for the sake of keeping... -

Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I meant by repair, I should have said mending it or something other than replacing the sweatband. Double-sided tape might add enough support to keep it going for awhile longer as is (with fingers crossed) but if not, I'll replace the sweat. Interestingly... -
