I think it is to do with the cars...at least partly. Those old, heavy cars, with big bench seats certainly had a comfort level captain's chairs don't have...at least for kids. I agree Smith is a bit Tennant-y. But I think he'll grow on me and come into his own. I, personally, prefer the doctors to be quite different, like Tennant was from Eccleston, and Davidson was from Baker. Watched the new Doctor Who last night. I think he'll grow on me, but the companion bugs me... she seems to over act or something. But I'll give her more of a chance.
