Seriously IMHO Nothing is too costumey(no matter how theatrical) unless you feel like you are wearing a costume. Personal style is personal style, let know one dictate to you how you feel and what you want to express.:)
I have a picture of a family member in the 1920's wearing a notched lapel DB suit as well. Also there were many Semi-Peak lapels in the 1920's, I have one myself.
All three Christy's hats I've ordered have been dramatically different. [huh] You can get a really good production Christy's fedora, but beware of the problem of quality control, its an issue for Stetson, Borsalino, and all most all of the major hat brands.
Thank you, Did you see the color(medium Slate Grey) I was looking for? It seems like it was one of the most common colors from the 1920's to 1960's. I don't know why such a staple color is so hard to find now.
