Here's another: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vtg-WWII-1942-IRVIN-RAF-B-3-Sheepskin-Coastal-Command-Leather-Flight-Jacket-/331464348888?pt=UK_Men_s_Coats_Jackets&hash=item4d2cd094d8
A bit smaller, but a lovely Coastal Command Irvin (with the hood intact and a really unusual dark fleece).
Try - this one (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Irvin-RAF-Flight-Jacket-Ginger-SHEEPSKIN-LEATHER-Chest-44in-/121549036775?pt=UK_Men_s_Coats_Jackets&hash=item1c4ce31ce7).
Honest looking, late war multi-panel Irvin.
Would have liked to buy it myself, but sadly a little on the small side (looks...
Very nice, but £210? Eeek...
Incidentally Sloan, what's the story with the Fairisle sweaters? Until last year, there were some great, authentic looking designs on the site (tried to pick one up in my size), but over the last year they've taken a dive to my eye - there are some odd colour...
I'm sorry, perhaps I'm missing the point, but the purchase price is 580€ before postage.
You'll pay perhaps another 200€ to get the sleeves relocated?
You run the risk of making the jacket unsellable if it doesn't work out.
A typical used Good Wear in a 46 would cost you around 600€.
Possible, but not economically viable. It's a big job. If it's too long then leave it. There are plenty Good Wears out there in a 46. It's also John Chapman's size so test jackets are invariably tagged 46.
Thanks, it is - more images here (http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?70941-LVC-Menlo-Cossack-washed-goatskin-(XL-2008)&highlight=menlo+washed+goatskin)

Dear All
Heartbreaking, but I have to let my reproduction Irvin go as it's just a little too snug in the torso for me. Before I put it on EBay, I thought that I'd offer it here first. This is one of the rare very early Cockpit Clothing (Southampton UK) 'Aviator' jackets from the same period as...
