    I'm sorry, perhaps I'm missing the point, but the purchase price is 580€ before postage. You'll pay perhaps another 200€ to get the sleeves relocated? You run the risk of making the jacket unsellable if it doesn't work out. A typical used Good Wear in a 46 would cost you around 600€.

    Possible, but not economically viable. It's a big job. If it's too long then leave it. There are plenty Good Wears out there in a 46. It's also John Chapman's size so test jackets are invariably tagged 46.
