Thanks Mike, The manufacturer's tags (it has 2) are the style from the 40s and 50s but the text is in Spanish. I've been trying to find info about Stetson licensed hats in Spanish language countries but so far no luck other than a mention that they did have a licensee in Mexico beginning around...

I like everything about this hat Jack. The felt has a really fine hand, soft and smooth to the touch and for a western weight it shapes easily. It had a crooked cattleman crease and the brim was all whomper-jawed when I got it and it too about 30 minutes with a block and steam to get it to look...
