Here's a nice Brent Cafe racer that i recently picked up.
The size tag was ripped off but I purchased it anyway.
Unfortunately, it's quite small, so I'll be selling it.
Very well done Marc.
Thank you for the practical and thorough review. It's incredibly helpful to have this first hand illustration of the strengths and weaknesses of this jacket.
I hope you will continue this format and review of some of your current jackets as time allows.
I picked up this jacket without the benefit of dimensions.
It's a very nice CAL horsehide jacket.
The jacket fits me well and at 6'1" the length still works for me, even though the length is 24 inches.
The problem is the sleeves, what a bummer. At 22.50", they are just way too short for me...
I don't have any experience with this brand but if you need a wedge in this price range, I would recommend Thorogood Boots.
Lots of color combos, sizes, made in the USA. They are immediately comfortable out of the box, very little break in.
They fall in the $200-$220 range with discount codes...
Chromexcel is so stuffed full of oils and grease that it won't ever get much lighter.
Hell , the initial use was for motor seals on trucks and tanks.
It does fold, soften, and crease.
I have on of the these LL Bean jackets.
It's labeled as large, so 42-44. The pit to pit on this one made in Turkey is 24".
I would imagine that if the jacket is 22", this one would be closer to medium.
